Helpful Hints on Using this Wiki

1. You must create an account (upper right hand corner) and then log in to contribute edits to this particular wiki.

2. After logging in, go to the Main Page. Each SDI Cookbook chapter is an "article" and each major heading within a chapter forms an "editable unit" or "page."

3. Click on a chapter and then click on the edit tab along the top to edit material in a chapter.

4. Click the discussion tab to see all previous discussions about edits to the page, to make an entry explaining why you made an edit or to explain why you disagree with someone else's edit.

5. Click the history tab to see all past edits of the material by all registrants. Under the history tab, the administrator has the ability to rollback to previous versions of the material or to block specific contributions.

6. Navigate to a page and then use the move tab to move an entire page.

7. Navigate to a chapter or page and then use the watch tab to add a page or chapter to your watchlist. Items on your personal watchlist appear as bold items when you view them in the list of Recent Changes (found in the left menu).

8. For the administrator, a delete tab is available whereby an entire page or chapter may be deleted. The administrator also may click the protect tab to prevent further edits to a page or moves of a page.
